Rule Boat Bilge Pumps
Bilge water is something that we all have to deal with. All boats will end up with water in its bilge from a variety of sources. (Spray, leaks in the seams, propeller shafts that drip.) If left alone, it can cause problems with your electrical system and can alter your boat’s center of gravity in rough water.
In this section, you will find our selection of Rule Boat Bilge Pumps, both automatic and non-automatic, switches and alarms.
The Rule-Mate series of Automated Bilge Pumps feature a pump and a non-mercury float switch in a single, compact housing. When the float rises, the pump turns on. There is no on/off cycling and therefore, no power use until the pump comes on. The pump remains on until the float drops and the pump senses no load against the impeller.
Rule Non-Automatic Bilge Pumps feature traditional operation, activated by a float switch or panel switch. New is Rule’s Cartridge Series of Bilge Pumps. These are non-automatic pumps with the added feature of replacement motors. This allows you to carry a spare motor, providing you with an extra level of security and protection.
